Counselling and therapy support for all those involved in education
I have been involved in education now for 28 years and have experience helping students, teachers, parents, leaders and lecturers. I fully appreciate the demands of being involved in educating others, whilst also appreciating the struggles that students and parents find themselves enduring.
I can help.

At The Aperture Practice, I offer a dedicated space designed for those at the heart of the education. My work is grounded in providing teachers and lecturers, senior leaders, students and parents the mental room to breathe, reflect and reconnect in a demanding world.
Support for teachers and lecturers
I provide a space for educators to process and unpack the emotional demands of the classroom or lecture hall, rediscover their 'why', and build long-term resilience.
Support for students
Dedicated therapy sessions that provide young people with the tools to navigate academic pressure and personal growth through a clearer perspective.

Individual support for all of those across the educational landscape
During my time in education I have taught Biology, served as a Head of Year, held Senior Leadership roles, worked for the Boarding Schools Association, and worked extensively as a Houseparent supporting young people through both academic and personal challenges.
Having worked in both state and independent education, I understand the unique pressures faced by students, teachers, parents and school leaders. Much of my professional life has involved helping young people navigate the complexities of adolescence, identity, relationships, self-confidence and mental wellbeing.
