The Aperture
Practice

Life is becoming increasingly demanding. We find ourselves balancing high workloads, navigating emotional labour within relationships, asking ourselves questions around the past/present/future and the pressures of responsibility. I can help.
Sometimes adjusting the aperture reveals a picture we could not previously see.
Aperture specialises in counselling, coaching and therapy for adults and teens.

What is Integrative Counselling at Aperture?
Rather than being restricted to one therapeutic model, I draw upon various techniques, including person-centred, gestalt, CBT-based approaches, coaching skills and transactional analysis, to create a counselling experience that reflects your individual needs and goals.
Just having a space to unload, unpack and untangle some thoughts is key in these busy lives we lead. A moment to simply be heard, and maybe have some reflections to talk through is incredibly powerful. It can be passive or directive - it is completely bespoke.
A holistic understanding of wellbeing
My background in Human Biology has fostered a longstanding interest in the connection between physical and mental health, particularly the gut-brain axis, breathing techniques, mindfulness and meditation, and the importance of physical activity on mental wellness.
